The Aixia 4800MW & 8800MW Series are Industrial Grade, multi-wire machines of unequalled precision and capability. These units are designed to meet the demands of today’s most demanding production environment. With the capacity to accept up to 10 simultaneous hot cutting wires on the 96” x 96” cutting bed, these machines will increase your production of moldings, profiles, shapes, parts, etc., a full 1000%. A single profile created on the familiar Windows platform is automatically repeated up to 10 times simultaneously. For jobs with larger pieces being repeated, the cutting wires can be removed or adjusted on ½” increments. 

While designed for large throughput of parts, when outfitted with the TurnPro, and the ShapePro bendable wire cutting tool, the 4800 & 8800 series machines can handle almost every challenge put to it. For the production of very large pieces and shapes, all the cutting wires except for one can be removed, thus allowing for the full cutting capacity of the Aixia 4800MW & 8800MW.

While still having all of the features of the Professional Series machines including independent wire movement, Windows based interface, multi-tasking computer capability, the 4800MW & 8800MW have several features that set them apart over other Aixia models. All moving parts are completely mounted on the inside of the 4800MW & 8800MW frame, creating a safe work environment for the operator and other employees. The Hot Wire power unit is constructed for a production environment, with key locks on the access door, an Emergency Cut-off Switch and a Power Switch lock out. Our unique design allows for the addition or removal of cutting wires without the requirements to make any heat setting or configuration changes; cutting wires can be added or removed “as required”. The safety aspect of the design of the 4800MW & 8800MW can be further enhanced by the addition of Enclosure, or security, panels that can be permanently closed with the access doors being cut-off switch enabled. Additionally, Laser Curtains, Conveyor systems and Fume extractors can be added to further enhance the safety and security of the operator and surroundings. 

Every Aixia 4800MW & 8800MW is shipped with a remote wireless manual movement keyboard. This allows for manual movement and placement of the cutting wire, while allowing the operator to be removed from the immediate vicinity of the Aixia. Additionally, this remote operation allows the computer and Controllers to be placed away from the Aixia, creating a better workflow area around the machine. As with all Aixia Pro or Industrial models purchased within North America, delivery, installation, set-up and training at your facility is included at no additional charge. Every Aixia Professional Series foam cutter ordered from AFC Foam Cutters and delivered within North America includes a DELL computer system and CorelDRAW Software. The Aixia Professional Series foam cutters are a complete ready-to-use, turnkey system.

Options for your Professional Series foam cutter:
The Industrial Series TurnPro turntable is permanently mounted in the bed of the machine and does not interfere with either the standard cutting of blocks or the total cutting capacity of the machine. The Professional Series Shapeable Wire Tool adds the ability to "turn" circular cornices, produce radiuses designs or use to produce dynamic and true 3D objects.

Assembly & Installation:
The Industrial Series machines are delivered completely dismantled and should be installed by a qualified installer. The installation and assembly takes about 6 hours. The Industrial Series include* a Pentium class computer, AFC Windows Software, CorelDRAW 12 software, delivery, installation and on-site system operation, maintenance and file creation training.
